Fox News Team Kidnapped

Two Fox News journalists have been captured in Gaza. While Fox News is not specifically stating names, Michelle Malkin has them listed as Steve Centanni and a cameraman from New Zealand. Our hearts and prayers go out to the families of the two journalists and we are praying for a safe return. God Bless.

It's worth taking the time to watch.

Cease-Fire in Effect

As of 1 a.m., the Cease-Fire has taken effect.

T-1 Hour Till Ceasefire

It's T -1 Hour until the apparent Cease-Fire in the Israeli-Lebanon Conflict. One question still lingers. Will it work? In my personal opinion, no. Hezbollah is not Lebanon and is a terrorist organization. I see in the future, hope not however, Hezbollah breaking the cease-fire or using it to rearm, attacking Israel and Israel having to defend itself again. Coverage will Continue throughout today.

The Cease-fire is scheduled to begin at 1 a.m. US Eastern Time.

Israel will Hault fighting, Will Hezbollah?

The Associated Press is reporting that Israel will stop attacks on Monday at 7am local time, Midnight on Sunday EST. The question lingers, Will Hezbollah concurr? Hezbollah has already said that it won't stop attacks until Israel has completely withdrawn. Which leaves some issues.
  1. Israel can't just teleport its troops and equipment out.
  2. The UN forces are supposed to come in as Israel is leaving.
  3. The UN forces can't be there for several weeks, some report.
So, if Israel stops firing, but has to keep its troop there until the UN gets there, will Hezbollah keep attacking them. Maybe. Now of course if Hezbollah keeps attacking Israel, Israel will be expected to maintain their part of the cease-fire. So, will Israel have to stay defenseless? Of course, if Israel tried to defend itself again, it would be frowned upon again, to say the least. So, yes ladies and gentlemen. The terrorists appear to have won. I think Condoleeza Rice has to go. Can you say resignation. She apparently couldn't keep her hand down at the S.C. Meeting. Resolution 1701, is a joke.

Resolution 1701 Passed. Will it work?

Well, the UN Security Council unanimously passed Resolution 1701, which calls for an Israeli cease-fire. The Resolution permits an internation force of UP TO 15,ooo troops to assist the Lebanes military, to attempt to take control away from Hezbollah. It also requires Israel to withdraw from Southern Lebanon. It calls for the need for an "unconditional release" of the two Israeli soldiers captured on July 12, however does not make a direct demand for their freedom. 1701 does not state under which chapter of UN policy the force will be deployed on. The UN force, known as UNIFIL will be in charge of enforcing the cease-fire. Please note the UNIFIL flag flying under the Hezbollah flag, at left.

So the question appears to be, will this surrender, sorry, resolution work? A similar resolution was passed years ago, 1559. Under it, Hezbollah was supposed to be disarmed. Obviously, they never were. With word of the passing flowing around the net, people are already skeptical about it, and saying that Olmert has failed Israel and the United States. So, do you think this will work? It will remain to be seen.

Brrr.

What a lovely picture:

Whacko, meet whacko, and of course, you know whacko. Ned Lamont, by the way, called a town that he would represent if elected to Congress, "where the forces of slime meet the forces of evil." because they used their Democratic right to choice who they want to represent them, and they decided to choose Joe Lieberman. But, you know some liberals. You choose what they want or you are a racist, or slimy, or something along those lines. FINALLY after much criticism, his campaign manager said he will send an apology to the mayor of Waterbury for describing the city that way. Boy, he's off to a good start. Calling people he'll represent, "slimy". Hmmm. I hope the people who voted for him are happy with their choice.

Welcome to Cindyland.

According to the Seatle Post-Intelligencer,
Cindy Sheehan has plans on what she is going to do with the land she purchased, with her son's life insurance money, in Texas. It is to serve as a refuge for deserters. That's right. It will serve as a haven for people who signed up for the military, as there is no draft, and refuse to join their fellow soldiers to fight in Iraq. Now, last time I checked aiding and hiding deserters, is illegal. Maybe Sheehan figures, hey I've already got 2 arrests at least under my belt, what the heck. No longer is Sheehan just a nasty little mosquito, but an aid to those who are breaking the law. I'll bet you no one will go after her or the deserters, and she will continue to complain. So, as of this moment, I will call her plot of land in Texas, where she plans to help deserters, Cindyland.

Ahhhh!

That's all I can say about today.

America is One Large Petition Ground

Ok. I see how illegal aliens, terrorist sympathizers and more see the United States. As one large protest/petition ground. They actually come to the United States, to complain about the United States. They don't have the balls to protest in their own countries, so they come to the US where they know people have the right to protest, where they know they will have support from their fellow nuts, meanwhile using the US healthcare and more. That's it! By jove, I've got it.

Seriously, I'm damn tired of hearing people protesting IN FAVOR of the same terrorist blowing up our nation and allies, on the very streets I helped pay for and using the same services I pay tax dollars for. Just like illegal aliens. They come here, use us, then complain we aren't welcoming enough, and fly Mexican flags in the street praising their government officials. Umm, HELLO! If it's so great there, GO HOME. I swear, so many people can not honestly say that they have a brain in their head.

CNN INT Worse

The only thing worse than CNN, is CNN International. They, themselves, appear to be the "Most Trusted Name in Sob Stories". Nevermind the fact that when reporting, they look like they are having a stroke seizure. The one reporter moves her entire torso and stands on her toes, on every other beat. As for the rest of them, can they be any more dramatic? Atleast CNN pretends to present both sides of the conflict, not only the regular "poor terrorist" side. CNN Internation, doesn't even pretend. They just come out and tell you how bad it is for Lebanon, and how bad Israel is.

Massive Terror Plot Failed

A Massive Terror Plot was thwarted after British police said they had arrested more than 20 suspects in a major terrorist plot to blow up passenger jets flying between the United Kingdom and the United States. CNN is reporting that, "The foiled plot was "intended to be mass murder on an unimaginable scale," London's Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner Paul Stephenson said."

The terrorthreat was raised to its highest level since 9/11, Severe or Red. Until further notice, NO LIQUIDS will be permitted on US flights, and No Carry On will be permitted on British flights.

Rhandi Rhodes on Larry King

I learned several things from watching Larry King, this evening. Number one, Rhandi Rhodes can not SHUT UP. Even when Larry asked her to be quiet for a moment, she ignored him and continued with her diarreha of the mouth. She spent the whole time defending Lebanon, even saying that Lebanon should be rewarded. She said that this war won't get rid of terrorists. Umm, where the hell has she been? Their asses are getting blown up. It appears to be her opinion that you can negotiate with a terrorist organization.

Neil, her opposite, told Larry King, while she was still talking, that he should know that Rhandi Rhodes doesn't care if you're talking. Rhandi, a few simple rules. 1. SHUT UP WHEN THE HOST TELLS YOU TO. 2. Don't keep talking over the guy giving you a chance to get your opinion out there. Her opposite had almost NO time to express his opinion. She hijacked the interview.

She also said something surprising. She asked why the President "Cut and Run from Afghanistan". Wow, this from the Cut and Run party itself. So, basically, I learned that Rhandi Rhodes is the most obnoxious person yet.

Time to Stand Up For Israel

Israelis are once again getting attacked by the media, being considered the "big bad guys" for fighting back against terrorist attacks against its country. In the style of Gordon Sinclair, I say, This American thinks its time to stand up for the Israelis, as possibly our strongest ally and a country defending itself.

The Liberal Media does nothing all day long now, but attack Israel and President Bush. Israel is made out to be the big bad guy, no matter where you look. When Hezbollah shoots missiles at Israel, the headline reads something like "Hezbollah Rockets Fall On (Enter City Name Here), Casualty Rate Not Expected to be High". If Israeli missiles hit Lebanon, its something along the lines of "Israeli Missiles Strike Lebanon, Killing (some number) and wounding (some number). It was only this week, that it was discovered by a blogger that a major news organization, to remain nameless, printed manipulated images by a Lebanese photographer, attempting to make the damage by the Israelis, look worse. Did that major organization apologize for trying to pull one over the publics' eyes? No, it gave excuses and fired the photographer.

Most People in Lebanon, never consider the fact that Hezbollah attacked Israel and kidnapped 2 soldiers starting this conflict. They never think of the fact that Hezbollah is using them as human shields. It never crosses their minds. They simply pledge their loyalty to the same organization responsible for their deaths. Then, they call out on Liberal cameras about how their are innocent civilians getting bombed. Really? You mean like what happened to Israel?

The mainstream media, is also stupid enough to believe these Hezbollah terrorists. They take terrorists' words as a legal binding contract. They talk about how Hezbollah promises to withdraw or stop the attacks, if Israel does. Umm, morons, THEY ARE TERRORISTS! They attacked and kidnapped two of Israel's soldiers on Israeli soil. They aren't honest. Some Americans believe them too. Many people can only see one side, the Lebanese. They can't see the Israeli side, and never will. Just remember one thing, Israel isn't the one saying "Death to America", Hezbollah and Lebanon is. I am one American, who is proud to say "I support Israel" and I don't give a damn if anyone doesn't like it.

I can't, Just Can't, Give a Damn

CNN, and others attempt to make you feel bad for civilians. And I did. Originally. Then, though being attacked by Israel, they chant again and again "Death to America". Then at that moment, I just could no longer give a damn. The only group isolated from my non-caring feeling, are babies. Babies are dying on both sides, yet the media is only interested in presenting those dying in Lebanon. However, that's besides the point. While there are many in Israel and the United States who feel for those in Lebanon and some who feel this should be ended, these "innocent civilians" presented by the media, don't give a damn. Their reaction is "Death to America". They would be pleased to kill you or me. Yet, I should still feel bad for them. I'm also damned tired of hearing "we have to be the better people". I was willing to, but it is now made impossible. We are nice to people. Their reaction? They attack us. We are nice, yet again. Their reaction? They attack us, again. Should we just keep getting hit in the face, and getting up to get hit again? Many people think we should. So, I just can't give a damn, anymore. I'm sorry.

Nuts in Lebanon

Strange title, but yes. Nuts in Lebanon. Peace activists from the United States and Europe are heading to Lebanon to go to Hezbollah strong holds, to protect the areas and bring attention to the "plight of civilians. Aww. The poor little terrorists.

The United States JUST gets everyone out, and then these nutjobs have to go in! Of course, you know as well as I that they'll realize how dangerous it is with the aerial bombardment, not be able to get out, then expect the US to evacuate them. Then, when the US isn't knocking down the door to come to their rescue, the moment they call the embassy, they will complain and criticize the government. Who will end up paying for their evacuation, because the notjobs have to go and be a human shield for terrorists? You and me. American taxpayers. Then they'll complain about something we did.

Yahoo News has the story.

One of the eleven missing Eyption foreign exchange students have been found, according to CNN. He was found and taken into custoday in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was supposed to be in Montana. S.O.B of the Day

That's Right, you know what time it is. Ok, maybe you don't. I've never done it before. Anyway, not important.

It's time to announce today's S.O.B. . And it's someone you know. Ladies and Gentlemen give it up for the S.O.B of the Day:

Ned Lamont
Photo Copyright Associated Press

That's right you know him well. He's the S.O.B.
who beat out Lieberman for the Democratic Connecticut nomination, with a margin of about 4% and is flaunting it as a landslide. He may have rose to fame for you, after Lieberman's running website went down coincidentally on the day of the election. Lamont's was still up running. So, if you went to any political websites for that district yesterday, it was almost surely Lamont's. Lamont's people are also the ones accusing Lieberman of having a $15 a month webhosting plan and saying his "website probably went down because he forgot to pay the bill".

Well that wraps up this segment of the S.O.B. of the Day. Please join us again tomorrow, as we announce the new S.O.B of the Day. Or possibly even later on today, if we have a co-S.O.B. of the Day.

McKinney has lost runoff

Cynthia McKinney, the Georgia Congersswoman known well for her 9/11 conspiracy theories and her scuffle with Capitol Hill police, has lost the runoff election for the Democratic nomination, according to the Associated Press.

McKinney lost to
Hank Johnson, a former country commissioner and attorney. McKinney lost by more than 11,000 votes. Johnson took about 59% of the vote.

My opinion: Good Luck and Good Riddance to McKinney.

Good Morning and Hello

Good Morning. Our coverage of what has being coined "Reutergate" will continue today, and take a look at the New York Times photos. Plus, news that developed overnight. Joe Lieberman lost the bid for Democratic runner, but is expected to run Independent. Plus, where did those eleven egyptian students go? They never showed up for class in the US, but did arrive in JFK. Where are they now? The university that is supposed to be hosting them, says that they probably were more interested in the Big Apple, but the Federal Bureau of Investigation has told local authorities to be on the look out. With their student visas terminated, will they ever show up? See you later on.

More Fake Photos?

Are there even more fake pictures, being passed off as real? Gateway Pundit
reports on another set of photos that appear to be fake. I have outlined the errors below, but you must read his commentary to understand the outlines. To do so, click his name earlier on in this posting.

PLEASE NOTE THE MAN CIRCLED IN RED.

AGAIN NOTICE THE SAME RESCUER WITH THE HAT AND THE SHORTS:

OK, NOW PAY ATTENTION. THIS IS THE SAME ATTACK. AMAZINGLY, THE SAME GUY (THE ONE ON THE GROUND) THAT WAS RESCUING PEOPLE IN THE ATTACK A MINUTE AGO, IS NOW AN ATTACK VICTIM. NEVER MIND THE FACT THAT THERE ARE PHOTOS OF HIM A MINUTE AGO, UP AND ABOUT, BUT AS GATEWAY PUNDIT INDICATES, HE HAS NO DUST ON HIM, HIS HAT IS BEING HELD UNDER HIS ARM AND HIS SHORTS ARE PRETTY CLEAN. NOT A USUAL CONDITION FOR SOMEONE WHO THE NEW YORK TIMES INDICATES AS A VICTIM OF THE SAME ATTACK HE WAS HELPING PEOPLE IN.

J&J gets A HUGE Break

Once again the government has given a MAJOR corp. a MAJOR tax break. This time it is Johnson and Johnson. According to Allan Sloan of Newsweek, "J&J's tax savings on the deal will offset at least a quarter of the $16.6 billion cost, possibly much more. That's because the deal is set up as an asset purchase, and J&J is paying with cash. That makes the purchase price tax-deductible to J&J. The deal is taxable to Pfizer—but as we'll see, J&J's tax savings exceed Pfizer's tax costs."

I encourage you to read the full article Here.

Why the difference?

Go to the website of the Lebanese Embassy in Washinton D.C. and horror greets you. Faces of "innocent Lebanese caught up in the Israeli agression". They show you only how it affects them, and how you should feel bad. I do feel bad for the civilians, but the people there have allowed Hezbollah there, welcomed them with opened arms and though they may or may not be active fighters a majority still support them. They show you nothing of how Israel has been attacked, how it was attacked and had 2 soldiers kidnapped, starting this whole new war. No, only how it affects them. If Hezbollah really had not effect on the Lebanese govt., it would also point out how big of a problem Hezbollah is, and how it would like to get rid of it.

Now, go to the Lebanese Embassy, Canada website and what greets you? A clean cut template, a beautiful picture in the right-hand corner and a box to join their mailing list. Good luck finding even a mention of the Israeli-Lebanon conflict. The news section consists of links to external sites. As a matter of fact, the site still promotes tourism to areas such as Beirut and Tyre.

Oh, now wait, what about the Lebanese Embassy, Australia website. Nope, almost nothing there either. It does mention the 5th anniversary of the launch of the website, however.

11 Egyptians, 18-22 years, Missing

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Monday, alerted local and state authorities to lookout for 11 egyptian students. The students, ages 18-22 years were exchange students who came to the United States to study a month-long program in U.S. history and culture at the Montana State University, but they never showed up. Their student visas were therefor voided as it is required that you actually show up for what you came here for. When found, they would most likely be sent home by the US government. The students had flown into JFK airport, from Cairo, late last month and went missing in NYC. The US government tightened the student visa program, after the 9/11 attacks when it was learned that four of the airline hijackers had entered the United States using student visas.

Reuters Photographer Manipulates Photo to Look Worse

Reuters News Service withdrew 920 photographs by a freelance Lebanese photographer from its database ,Monday, after a review of his photos showed that he had altered two images of the Mid-East Conflict. One of the images was that of smoke billowing from the city of Beiruit. In the original, some smoke floated in the air above the city. In the altered image, the smoke was more directly coming from buildings, appears to darker smoke and has a caption along the lines of destroyed buildings burning after the IDF attacked over night.

The second of the photos was that of an Israeli fighter jet firing A flare from its underbelly. The altered photo showed 3 flares being fired from it saying that they were missiles. Little Green Footballs, Ace and Free Republic appear to be responsible for the discovery of the altered photos.

Did Landis Cheat or is this more America Bashing?

At a time when America is not the most popular country in the world, it is only added to by Floyd Landis's post-race drug tests coming back negative. But did they, or is this more America bashing?

After 2 urine-sample tests came back positive, the Union Cycliste Internationale has posted on their website "In accordance to the Anti-doping rules, the Anti-doping Commission of the UCI will request that the USA Cycling Federation open a disciplinary procedure against the rider." The tests were done at the Anti-doping laboratory of Paris. Now, of course we all know how much the French love us, and I could never believe that a nation who surrenders their country without fighting and is known far and wide as wimps and non-American Supporters would change results of an American rider at a time when America is, let's face it, hated by many countries.

There are certain questionable actions of the organization. One such is the fact that immediately after the initial test came out, the head of the organization said that Flandis is no longer the champion. Now of course, if Flandis was from any other nation or this was any other rider, he would be given the benefit of the doubt. It would be, "Well we don't want to judge or make any decisions until we are positive that this is true". Since he's an American, first test comes back and he's guilty put a fork in him, he's done. How convenient that the test's results make way for the winning of a European rider. Not from any other continent, but Europe.

However, if France or Spain or any of them are attacked again, the first thing they'll do is look towards the US to defend them, and if we don't we'll be criticized, so we will. Same story again and again. Look, all I'm saying is, you're innocent until proven guilty. If a prosecution attorney presents two pieces of evidence in court, is the defendent automatically guilty? If Landis did do dope, he should be disciplined, however, the jury isn't even back with the verdict and the judge is pronouncing sentancing.
