Ha Ha. Ya'll thought It Was Over, Didn't Ya!

Well for the second time today alone, the United Nations has resumed its meddling. The UN today said that the US needs to do its best to protect black and poor people in a disaster. Ok, and everyone else that was left behind in the city that doesn't fall under these categories? Like some white people who aren't on, I don't know, welfare? I had two friends in NO when Katrina came. One was black and one was white. Neither one of them was rich or poor. Both middle class. Both left behind. How about the fact that over 250,000 pets were forced to be left behind, when cops and rescuers physically ripped them out of the arms of everyone from children to war veterans. Many pets died in the aftermath. Some were shot be local law enforcement, in a sick "target practice" game, and left to suffer until dying perhaps hours or days later. I guess the UN doesn't give a damn. But hey, let's give it more money!

The Attack Continues

Well, the UN's attack on US policies continues this week. I love the UN way! Don't go after Hezbollah, or countries that execute people for changing religions or nations that come out and admit that they possess nuclear technology they wish to use on their neighbors. They're friends with them. No, attack a nation that executes a few murderers.

The United Nations said today that the United States should adopt a moratorium on the death penalty. Now, we don't execute political opponents, or thiefs, or people of different religions, or bank robbers or most of the time even child rapists. No, we execute the worst of the worst murdering criminals, sometimes. That is of course if the ENTIRE jury wants the death penalty, the prisoner doesn't win his appeal, the prisoner isn't pardoned by the governor or president and if the prisoner actually makes it to the chamber. Death row inmates often die in prison of old age before they get executed. Its not uncommon to find someone whose been on death row for at least 10 years. So of course this is ground for an attack by the United Nations. It urged the U.S. to review federal and state legislation, and to restrict the number of crimes that could carry a penalty of death. It also said Washington needed to assess the extent that death sentences are handed down disproportionately on minorities and poor people.

Ok, geniuses at the United Nations, guess what! What rights the federal government doesn't reserve in the Constitution is given to the states. Each state has its own penalties, death row, courts and laws. Washington has little to nothing to do with it. We don't live in a government like many of you do, where the capital of the federal government possesses all of the power.

Can You Sue for That?

On www.afterdowningstreet.org/resourcecenter, the whackos impeachment website, an advertisement for an impeach shirt says "A Shirt Guaranteed to Make You 3 New Friends Per Day". If I don't make 3 friends per day wearing the shirt, can I sue for false advertising? :)

Facts About Sheehan

I thought I'd Provide Some Background And Facts Relating to Cindy "Whacko" Sheehan.
  • She says she has always been a Democrat. No Surprise there.
  • She always questioned the war, but never got involved, with all of her caring about others, until after her own son died.
  • In June 2004, she actually had the meeting with Bush that she says she wants now. She said about the President afterwards that he was "sincere about wanting freedom for the Iraqis...I know he's sorry and feels some pain for our loss. And I know he's a man of faith." She also added that he had given her back the "gift of happiness."
  • Just over 1 year later she described the same initial meeting as "one of the most disgusting experiences I ever had and it took me almost a year to even talk about it." Even though that was contradictory 180 degrees of her opinion that she DID state a year earlier. She also said about the same meeting that President Bush was "detached from humanity" and said that "his mouth kept moving, but there was nothing in his eyes or anything else about him that showed me he really cared or had any real compassion at all." So apparently she either lied at first or afterwards.
  • She donated her son Casey's boots to travel with Eyes Wide Open. So instead of keeping them for her to remember him by, she used them for her agenda. Charming.
  • She pledged to break our nation's law and not pay her 2004 taxes on August 5, 2005.
  • At the end of her vigil in Crawford she said she was "very, very, very grateful" that a meeting was not granted with Bush, otherwise that may have ended her cause. So, she didn't really want closure and a meeting. She wanted notariety.
  • On September 24, 2005 she wrote in her blog complaining that the media coverage had moved away from her cause, in order to cover Hurricane Rita, which caused 120 deaths and was the fourth most-intense storm in history. She wrote and I quote "I am watching CNN and it is 100 percent (Hurricane) Rita...even though it is a little wind and a little rain...it is bad, but there are other things going on in this country today". Now ladies and gentlemen, I am from Florida. There is no such thing in a hurricane and a little wind and rain. She knows nothing about it, some degrades it. People and pets die. She prefers to talk about her agenda instead of the media giving out emergency shelter info and phone numbers to call. This statement, by the way, drew criticism from people in her own camp.
  • In March 2005 James Morris sent an email from Sheehan to Nightline. In it she wrote her son was "was killed for lies and for a PNAC Neo-Con agenda to benefit Israel" and that he had "joined the Army to protect America, not Israel." Now, of course Sheehan denies the claim and says she believes in Israel's cause. She says Morris edited the email. Two other individuals also received the email, not from Morris but Sheehan. These individuals said that Morris's account was actually true. Not Sheehans.
  • The Buffalo News reports that Sheehan normally receives $2,500 in speaking fees, even at not-for-profit speeches.
  • Cindy Sheehan was invited by a Congressman to the 2006 State of the Union Address. Once seated she revealed an anti-war t-shirt. She was removed from the gallery along with a Florida Congressman's wife, per US law. Though the officers were completely withing the law and there was nothing stopping the city from filing charges, they dropped all the charges and issued an apology, apparently to be nice or give her a second chance. Despite their goodwill and her good luck, Sheehan decided to file a lawsuit. She doesn't realize apparently that she actually broke the law and got off the hook.
  • On March 7, 2006 Sheehan was arrested in New York "after blocking the door to the U.S. Mission to the UN offices" during a protest with Iraqi women against the war in Iraq.
  • On July 4th, 2006 Sheehan announced a fast saying "My fast will begin on 7/04 and end on the last day of Camp Casey: 09/02." A few days after the beginning of her fast, she was caught eating.
  • On July 5, Sheehan appeared on MSNBC's HARDBALL to discuss the war and her upcoming hunger strike. She affirmed her view of George W Bush, calling him "the biggest terrorist in the world" and "worse than Osama Bin Laden," and conceded that she would rather live under Hugo Chavez, a man who after polls was found to be hated by his own people, than President Bush.
  • And of course, as all of these things go, there will be a book. In September of 2006 she will release a book, Peace Mom: A Mother's Journey Through Heartache to Activism with Atria Books.
  • Sheehan's mom had a stroke during her famous protest. She left and spent only a week with her mom, then went back to her protest.
  • In July of 2006 she purchased a piece of land, 5 acres, in Texas saying ""We decided to buy property in Crawford to use until George's resignation or impeachment, which we all hope is soon for the sake of the world," Sheehan said in a newsletter set to be sent to supporters Thursday. "I can't think of a better way to use Casey's insurance money." Umm, a headstone before 2 years have passed maybe?

Cindy Sheehan Buys Land With Casey's Money

Cindy Sheehan has found a way to spend her son, Casey's, insurance money. She has purchased 5 acres of land in Texas. She says she will keep the land until President Bush's resignation or impeachment which she "hopes will come soon". She, ladies and gentlemen is a nutjob. She has apparently purchased the land, in order to be able to protest on or cheat on a fast on or whatever.

Casey was killed in Iraq by enemy combatants on April 4, 2004 after volunteering as part of a Quick Reaction Force to rescue American troops. His grave did not have a headstone until May 2006 when, due to public pressure, his mother the whacko purchased one. The Department of Veteran Affairs provides one for free upon request, by the way.

So, let's set this all straight. Her son died after volunteering for a mission, a brave thing to do I admit. So, she gets the insurance money. Does she use it for a headstone for her brave son? No. She protests. She gets publicity. She camps out. She gets followers. She sets up a website. She attacks the democratically elected President and the Congressionally approved and funded war. She shows up at events. All this time, her son's grave not identified. Finally over 2 years after his death, his mother gets him a headstone, only after criticism and pressure of him not having one. Then she spends his insurance money to buy land to continue her agenda, saying he would be proud.

Yes, maam. He would be proud that you attack his Commander in Chief. He would be proud that you attack the very cause he fought and died for. He would be proud that you attack the very Congress he signed up to defend. He would be proud that you said you would rather live in a dictatorship than in America. He would be proud that you can't stay on a fast in his memory for more than a few days. He would be proud that you didn't have a headstone put on his grave for over 2 years. Maam, Did you really know your son? He didn't sign up to sell girl-scout cookies. He signed up to defend America, its allies, and the free world. He knew the risks and he took them, willingly. He is a hero. How can you attack the very things he literally fought for? I don't get it.

Yates's Husband Should Be Charged FOR Insanity

Your 5 children are dead. Not accidentaly. They were murdered. By Your Wife. Your Reaction: Congratulations on being found Not Guilty. The Man: Rusty Yates.

Rusty Yates spoke today after her "not guilty by reason of insanity" abomination, er, verdict was reached. He said that he was ashamed that it took this long to find a "not guilty" verdict. He responded as his reaction to the verdict to his wife as "Congratulations!". He says that their relationship was still very good, he plans on visiting her, talking to her and more.

Does this sound like a sane person to you?

Andrea Yates found NOT GUILTY

Andrea Yates, who killed 5 of her children and admitted to doing so, has been found NOT GUILTY by reason of insanity. The only court left who has already found her guilty: The Court of Public Opinion. This verdict in my opinion is a disgrace. She said she knew the consequences, knew what she was doing illegal, called 911 afterwards and new exactly what happened in this case.

Analysis of Washington Post illegal alien sob story

Washington Post writer Nurith Celina Aizenman, yesterday, wrote an article that was supposed to make you feel bad for illegal aliens. Now, these were no ordinary illegal aliens who break our laws, take American jobs, forge or steal Social Security #s, protest in our streets, use our school and health system, then contribute little or nothing to our nation. These illegal aliens, who are being deported by the DHS, took it a step further. Many of them are gang members or they commited violent crimes. Now, it appears to be of Nurith Celina Aizenman's opinion that they are only innocent people with a dream and a criminal record. The same bull all of the time.

Everything in the article from the main body, to quotes to picture captions stink with sob story and attempts to make you feel bad for these illegals. The first smell of sob is the article's title, "A Long Flight of No Return." Ok. Right there it is wrong. It isn't "of no return", because if it was, we would only have a fraction of the problem we have. Illegal aliens come back again and again. Some have come back more than twenty times. On some of these flights the attendants actually know the illegal aliens' names.

The first line continues the perpetual stink with, " The passengers settled uncomfortably into the narrow seats". Aww. I'm sorry are the illegal alien criminals uncomfortable in a government finance 737 flight to their country of residence from a country they snuck into? Let's get this into perspective. The US finds an illegal alien, picks them up SOMETIMES, takes them onto a plane and sends them back home to try again. Let's look at Mexico. Mexico finds an illegal alien, picks them up ALL OF THE TIME, puts them in jail for YEARS, then deports them.

The next paragraph quotes her, then ends the quote with "the woman, a U.S. marshal, commanded in Spanish". Commanded? Yes Commanded. Again, putting this into perspective, if she really did command, she is a US Marshal not a teen working a summer job at the GAP. These are criminal illegal aliens, not 10 year olds at a summer camp who are going on a field trip. Then the paragraph goes on to quote her again" nd then you can go to the bathroom-- with permission ." No, that isn't me italicizing or putting dashes before with permission. That is how the article is written. News Flash: civilians are only allowed, even with the seat belt lights off, a few people up at a time, and my last flight I had to notify the flight attendant. So yes, criminals can get up to go to the bathroom WITH PERMISSION.

The next paragraph is unrelentless in Mission: Pity for Criminals. "105 men shackled at the wrists and the ankles" "peered out the thick, blurry windows for a last glimpse of Virginia" "Once, they had been hopeful newcomers to the United States. Now, they were about to leave for good on a deportation flight". Number one criminals should be shackled just as citizen criminals are, especially on flights. Number 2, unless they had visas or citizenship, they shouldn't have seen their first glimpse of Virginia. Number three, they weren't hopeful newcomers. Hopeful newcomers are new legal citizens, immigrants. These people entered illegally, used this nation, then expected to be able to stay. And Again, few leave for good. Most come back.

No, it doesn't end there. It tells the "sad" story of a 30 something year old illegal and says he "called Virginia home for 21 years." No. He called Virginia the place he had been hiding from the immigration authorities from, for 21 years. It says he was a member of the El Salvadorian army, and had been forced to torture captives, etc. Ok so, because of his nation's issues its ok for him and others to cost us hundreds of billions a year, loss of jobs, laws broken and our SSNs stolen? Here's an idea, fix your own country. We did in the US. We fought the world's strongest nation and won in the American Revolution. Don't put your troubles on us.

This is a unique line" Deportation is a fate that befalls only a fraction of illegal immigrants, though such flights may become commonplace if some of the more restrictive immigration reforms pending in Congress are adopted." This line tells people "this bill of enforcement of our laws in Congress should not be passed, only amnesty should be welcome".

Moving on, "Although U.S. authorities turn away or deport more than 1.6 million people attempting to cross the border illegally every year, once an immigrant manages to sneak into U.S. territory, the chances of getting caught are minimal". Ok, so why the hell are you complaining? "Those who are deported often come to the attention of immigration officials only because they commit a crime." And, we should feel bad for these people? "In 2004, the most recent year for which statistics are available, authorities deported only 104,000 immigrants who had been in the United States for three days or longer before they were apprehended. That's less than 1 percent of the nation's estimated 12 million illegal immigrants." Yes, you read that right, 1% and yet illegals and their buddies still complain.

The article admits one thing, "Watching over them were 16 marshals, who had reason to be wary. About 45 percent of the deportees had been convicted of violent crimes. Others had committed offenses as minor as public drunkenness. Although most were Salvadorans, there were natives of the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Guatemala, Jamaica and Honduras." Yes, that's right, violent crimes. And those are just the illegals who were caught.

"stretching a long leg into the aisle from seat 9C was Oscar Barilla, 25, whose chest and back were tattooed with the gothic letters and fearsome symbols of his gang, Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13. Barilla consented to be photographed for this article, but, like the other 15 gang members aboard". Ok, he was a MS-13 gang member along with 15 others on board, and yet I should feel bad. What planet is this author from?

The 30 something year old I told you about had been granted political assylum. However, "But he also garnered a series of convictions for drunken driving." He once broke the window of his house to get in and his wife called 911. When police got there she said that he was drunk and she thinks he was up there molesting their son. When the police got upstairs, the illegal started fighting them and wounded 2 officers.

Another illegal on the plane, who apparently just wanted a better life "went to a wedding reception and got into a drunken fight." He also said that one day he wanted to return to Guatemala when he was wealthy.

The last story was of a 22 year old illegal alien with 3 kids. No doubt the kids attended school, received medical care, their dad had a job, etc. Yet as an illegal alien without a SSN, you can't pay taxes except sales tax, which combined wouldn't get you a seat in the ER waiting room. He has the audacity to say "'I'm as American as the president. The only difference between us is that he has a piece of paper proving it. It makes me so angry." Guess what! If its so simple why not get your own piece of paper, legally! Ever think of that! The president was born an American, has a SSN, pays taxes, has a job legally, and starting in '08 will have to pay for all of his own services including his Secret Service. Did I also mention this illegal alien "was a permanent resident but lost that privilege when was convicted on drug charges and sentenced to five years in prison"? He says he plans on returning illegally to the United States.

Final Analysis, wrong article name, and this writer isn't a reporter. He may be a blogger, like me who expresses my opinion or an editorial writer but not a fair and balanced reporter. Maybe he is today's definition of a reporter. Are there really any fair and balanced ones any more?

THE STORY REFERENCED TO IN MY ARTICLE IS COPYRIGHT 2006 Nurith Celina Aizenman AND THE WASHINTON POST. NO INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. BITS OF ARTICLE REPRINTED FOR COMMENTARY PURPOSE ONLY.

Israel to Allow Relief Flights into Beirut International Airport

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, received a promise on Tuesday from Israel that it would permit relief flights into Beirut International Airport. This appears to be the first first diplomatic for Rice. Condi, luckily, still agrees that a cease-fire is NOT the solution. She will now be heading to Rome for multi-national talks.

Prince Harry: Che Guevara Supporter?

Ok. I'm an American. I live in the United States. That being said, we all know that often news from our allies makes it to the United States. One such instance was recently, with Prince Harry. He was caught wearing a green Che Guevara t-shirt. Of course, this is nothing new. Before this he was caught at a party wearing a nazi shirt. I wonder if he forgets that he is actually seen around the world. By the way, I'm not going to encourage you to, but you CAN email the Queen, if you really want to.

You Can Contact the Queen Here.
